Last night I downloaded Google Sky Map for my phone and was outside after I got home from the gym checking out the stars above. It gives you a pretty pinpoint location of where they are, but with the naked eye, who knows if I'm looking at the right things.
Anyway, I checked out Castor and Pollux, the two brightest stars in Gemini, from inside my kitchen. They were right there, two bright stars. Pretty amazing if you think about it.
On to the gym. The parking lot is a disaster. There are really no designated spots, so I park all the way in the back of the building where few people venture. The rest of them seem to park as close to the entrance as possible. Now isn't the whole point of the gym to get in shape? Where's the harm in parking a little farther from the entrance to prevent creating a maze to navigate through?
It really chaps my ass.
That's life and that's why nearly a third of American adults is obese. Surprisingly enough, Connecticut is the third least obese state at 22.5% (Colorado is 21% and Nevada is 22.4%).
Healthy steps.

A huge pet peeve of mine too. If you notice the people doing 4 laps around the lot to get the closest possible parking space are always the folks who weigh 3 bills and could use the exercise!
I am disabled WITH an handicap parking tab I almost never use...nope I park in the back of the lot and walk...even when it rains..
