Today's song calls for one that makes me happy. There are a lot of songs that make me happy, but I will choose one - our wedding song.
Brad Paisley's "Then". Regardless of what I am doing (lifting, running, driving) - if "Then" comes on, I let it play, because it makes me think of our wedding day and that was a happy day (and a hell of a party).
In unrelated news, sports commentator Jim Gray is a douche bag. He's had a history of getting into it with athletes or coaches (and in this instance, a caddy). Beat it you little dweeby shitbag.

Baby-ing Up the Place
Scouring the internet to try and find a rug with a little sage green in it for the bedroom. We need to start baby-ing the place up a bit.
April 14th is rapidly approaching and we are still trying to find some gender neutral stuff to decorate the "nursery" with. This nursery is basically half of our bedroom, since we live in a one-bedroom apartment here in the Bronx.
The crib is all put together, courtesy of me. The changing table should arrive today. Both from Pottery Barn Kids.
Lindsay has her Baby Shower tomorrow afternoon, so we should fill up the rest of our apartment with baby stuff relatively quickly. I am going to have to go through my closet and drawers and empty it out. I guess all I need is a few pairs of jeans, some t-shirts, a few collared shirts, some shorts, underwear and socks, right?
OK, time to head to lunch. It's early, but tonight is the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Armory on 168th St. It's a dreadful evening with my work study staff (aka: the baseball team). Moving hurdles, raking sand pits, adjusting the pole vault and high jump bars.
Some Friday night I have planned. SIKE!!

Game On
For those of you who follow because you're a fan of baseball, today marks the first day of games on the NCAA Baseball docket.
There are two games going on now, both in the Big East/Big Ten Challenge down in Florida.
Iowa at West Virginia (who we took 2 of 3 from last year in Morgantown)
Penn St. at Seton Hall (who we beat in South Orange last season)
We open up next weekend down in Cullowhee, NC at Western Carolina University. They're a very good team - 37-21 a year ago. Lots of stolen bases, so the pitchers need to pay attention, mix looks, vary times to the plate. (Sorry to those of you who have no idea what the hell I am talking about)
Got a big paper delivery here. Be back.
