As I was driving home on I-84 last night - during the daylight hours and after the horrible rain storms - I witnessed something pretty odd/entertaining/head-scratching.
A woman in a Ford Escape was driving in the right breakdown lane, on the rumble strips, for at least a half a mile at about 60 mph. She had a shit-eating grin on her face the entire time and seemed to think that instead of a 2-lane highway, this was a 3-lane.
Did she not feel the rumble strips? Or did she simply enjoy the bumpy ride a little too much?
As she approached a bridge and the "third lane" ended, so she pulled a high speed merge back into the regulation lane. Shortly thereafter, a "slow vehicle" lane began - she found her way into that and sped off, into the dusk.
Some people should have to take their driving test every year. I mean what the fuck is wrong with some people?
