Four Way Stop

With the recent blackout here in the state of Connecticut, the traffic scene turned into an almost New York style feel, and people here still have no idea how to drive.

All traffic lights were down when the power went out, naturally, and this brought about a bit of a conundrum for most people:

Do I race through the intersection with no working traffic lights or Do I treat it as a 4-way stop?

This is a fairly easy answer, you'd think, but there was a few times when I almost got rocked - correction - almost rocked someone else (my Blue '98 Mercury Mountaineer is a BEAST!).

The concept of stopping and letting the person to the right go first (as long as they were there first) was foreign to some.

It happened again today, on Hartford Tpke. - but did people treat is as a 4-way stop since the blackout was a warmup of sorts?  Nope.

Almost saw a few wrecks.

Headed over to Gampel tonight to watch the men's team raise the NCAA Championship banner to the roof as they take on Columbia.
