Moving Home

Guest written by our friend Gladys Fuentes

All of my extended family lives in Corpus Christi so after 10 years of being away, I’ve decided to move back home. I’ve lived in Arkansas since I came here for college. I wasn’t ready to go back to Texas after I graduated so I found a job and stuck around. Now that I’m getting older, I find myself missing my parents, cousins, aunt and uncles more. I’ve already lined up a new job to start in a month and found a house to rent. Next stop will be the internet to line up utilities for the new house. My dad suggested I search for Corpus Christi electricity providers to find an electric company. I’ll also need phone, cable, internet, water . . . The list goes on and on! I had forgotten how much energy and effort goes into a move, especially a long distance one. At least I don’t have to do it by myself. With my family these I will have someone to meet all the different utility personnel at the house for installation before I arrive. It will be nice to arrive at my new home and it have all the amenities in working order!

How Can LeAnn Rimes See?

Every picture I see of this woman when she smiles makes me think of the same thing - "How the hell is she able to see where she's going when she smiles?"

Sure, my eyes close a little when I smile but nothing like this.  Here's a few pictures I've found on the Internet and tell me if you agree or not.  If I were here, I'd stop walking before I attempted to smile.
I guess she really loves smiling.  And not eating apparently - every picture I see now reminds me of a hanger.
