With this weather we've been experiencing here in the northeast, a few rounds of winter golf aren't out of the question.
I assume you've got your clubs but have you picked out the right golf balls? I tend to use Srixon - they're relatively inexpensive and they last and last - for me anyway. I am very inconsistent when it comes to golfing and sometimes I get a little angry - and a ball or two might get thrown into the woods or lake - but not a Srixon. Tee it high and let it fly!
Here in the northeast - and judging by the weather forecasts I see on the news - anywhere else in the country, snow sometimes comes into play while golfing. What better way to keep track of your ball than with some yellow golf balls - perfect contrast to the crisp white snow lining the rough.
Overall, Srixon makes a solid golf ball that actually extends my drive by 10-15 yards. No joke. I've used all sorts of golf balls and these actually go the farthest. They're real soft around the green and controllable with my irons. That's where I need it to be solid - from close range. I'm not a big hitter (although with some more consistent play, I could be) so when I see Srixon balls on the shelf, I grab them.
I think people are too hung up with Titleist and Calloway - Srixon is where it's at. Just ask 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley about it.
