A-Rod Benched for Game 5

For the winner-take-all Game 5 between the Orioles and Yankees tonight in the Bronx, Alex Rodriguez will be relegated to cheering on his teammates as he has been benched.

Will be pinch hit?  Unlikely.  Unless, of course, the Yankees are winning.

It's about damn time.  I'm sick of seeing this face:

"Why me?"

But I really wish he'd just do something worth a shit to shut up the critics - self included.  Just once, a la 2009.

Doubtful he'll get that opportunity tonight but as sad as it is to say, they are going to need him to do something if they expect to win #28.
