Closer of the Year Tournament 2012

Four closers were eliminated following the games on May 16th.

#4 Seed AL - Jonathan Broxton, KC - Blew a two-run 9th inning lead to the Orioles; 1 IP, BS, 4 H, 2 R, 1 HR

#6 Seed AL - Joe Nathan, TEX - He got a save, but Fernando Rodney got one as well, against a tougher team, albeit the Red Sox aren't great this year.  Tough luck loss.

#8 Seed AL - Alfredo Aceves, BOS - Due to the fact that his team blows and that Jim Johnson picked up his MLB-best 13th save, Aceves had to go.

#8 Seed NL - Henry Rodriguez, WAS - As was the story with Joe Nathan, he picked up the save, but will never be considered a better closer than Jonathan Papelbon.

Four have moved on while the other four will hopefully be decided tonight.
