In the words of the wise Garth Algar and Wayne Campbell, "We're not worthy! We're not worthy!" I sure do think I've got what it takes to be Blogger Idol for the next year.
I write like I talk and from the looks of it, people seem to enjoy (mildly) what I write.
Plus I wouldn't mind a Galaxy Tab!
With me quitting my job last August to raising my son at home to moving to Connecticut to beginning a new chapter as an in-school suspension supervisor, my trials and tribulations have been documented. I've "met" some cool people via my blogosphere and am sure glad about that. The feedback and camaraderie in what we're doing goes a long way.
Help me out and give Blogger Idol a follow on Facebook and Twitter, @BloggerIdol.

iPhone 5 - Worth It?
With Apple's release of the iPhone 5, the question is: "Is it worth the upgrade from the iPhone 4S?"
I am due for an upgrade in the middle of October, so it's a decision I'll probably have to make. Switching from Android to Apple is inevitable I think, for me at least, but will it be the 5 or the 4S?
My Droid X camera is the pits. I have to turn off the phone every eight hours in order for the phone to work properly, otherwise all I get is this blank gray icon. And just when I think I took a great picture, I'll go look for it and see the damn icon.
Anyway, I'm going to try to cover the pros and cons of each iPhone, as amateurish as it seems.
As far as I'm concerned, a 0.5" increase in screen size isn't really worth $100 extra. I mean the aluminum case might be more durable, but still. And as far as the front-facing camera being a higher quality photo, who cares. It's really negligible.
It's thinner yes, but it's also taller - by a fraction.
I failed to mention the new A6 processor which should speed up internet and downloads a little but again, you really can't wait an extra minute?
There'll be people on both sides of this argument - me, I think the 4S model suffices just fine. I'd spend the extra $100 on something else, like maybe a nice dinner with the significant other.
